Mary Carey was born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 15, 1981. She moved to Florida with her parents when she was seven years old, studying ballet and dance until she was 19. By that time, her breasts sprouted to a delicious 36DD, which made ballet almost impossible.

She then joined her college dance team, and at the age of twenty took up stripping at a local club.  She loved the attention and within a year she was determined to get into porn. She headed out to Southern California with the goal of becoming a huge star.

Mary made her hardcore debut in 2002, and spent the better part of a year performing only with other women.  Her fame started to rise with several fascinating appearances on the Howard Stern show.  In 2003, Mary Carey signed an exclusive contract with Kick Ass Pictures and performed her first boy-girl scene.

Mary gained national attention in 2003 by announcing she was running for governor of California in the State's off the wall recall election. Her platform included imposing a tax on breast implant procedures, starting a 'Porn for Pistols' program to get guns off the streets, and to top it off she wanted to outfit the Governor's Mansion with webcams and start a pay site where members could watch her “activities”.  The proceeds were to be used to pay down the state's debts.  Although her effort did not get her many votes, she became a household name.  She also converted to a Republican so she could attend the popular Republican dinner in Washington!
