Los Angeles- Cindy Margolis, known as the "Most Downloaded Woman" on the Internet, is following up her win on "Celebrity Cooking Showdown" with a career first - posing nude for Playboy.

The mother of three told The Associated Press that she finally agreed to pose for the magazine when they called on her 40th birthday.

"Thank goodness for 'Desperate Housewives.' You're not dead just because you are married and have children," the actress and model said Monday, on the phone from her Los Angeles home.

After turning down offers to pose for the magazine in the past, Margolis said she accepted this time because she felt posing nude at the age of 40 is empowering.

"In the past it would have been for gratuitous reasons," she said.

Now, Margolis said, she is enjoying being the ultimate desperate housewife.

"It will be fun to go up against the 20-year-olds and show them that they don't have anything on me," she said.

Margolis has appeared in "Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery" and the annual "Lingerie Bowl." She has made headlines in recent years for her struggles with infertility. She is the national spokeswoman for Resolve: The National Infertility Association and is also writing a book about the subject.

"I just want to make it more mainstream for people to understand infertility, to understand surrogacy and adoption," she said.

Margolis, a former "Price is Right" model, gave birth to son Nicholas in 2002 after a high-risk pregnancy. The child was her first with husband, Guy Starkman. In 2005 Margolis and Starkman welcomed twins Sabrina and Sierra into the family. The twins were carried by a surrogate mother, and are biologically the couple's by in-vitro fertilization.

"It doesn't matter how you get your baby, even if it's via FedEx as long as you get to hold your precious baby in your arms. You can have your miracle child," Margolis said.

Kudos’ To Playboy and to Cindy!

I have to admit, I have not been this excited about a woman posing nude since the first Madonna nude pictures were published by Penthouse back in the 80’s, (What can I say, I was a young horny dude who was infatuated with Madonna!) or when Dianne Parkinson graced the pages of Playboy sometime in the early 90’s ( I was totally in lust with her as well, she is still hot today IMHO!).

There has been much talk and debate as to the validity of Cindy Margolis’ claim of being the most downloaded woman on the internet. I am not here to debate this, however there is no denying the fact that most men and women find her incredibly sexy and appealing, she has a gorgeous face, almost perfect body with non enhanced real breasts (she admits to recently having them lifted) and has made a fortune from her looks.

To her credit, she has resisted the temptation of millions of dollars to pose nude, and brilliantly this has enhanced her career. Millions around the world have wanted to see her completely naked but to this date not one “REAL” image of her nude can be found anywhere. In the last couple of years, we have not heard much from her except for a few appearances on some lame Reality shows. This recent decision to pose for classy Playboy is another brilliant move not only for the magazine but for Cindy as well. Her 15 minutes of fame (which was seemingly more like 15 hours) are up and she has managed to take one last kick at it and cash in on her name and incredible looks. Who knows, there may be a whole new Cindy craze started by all of this, or better yet a different type of revolution, similar to what Stiffler’s Mom Jennifer Coolidge accomplished with her role in American Pie. Mature women are beautiful, they may not have flawless skin or the tightest bodies, but there is something that is much more appealing to them and Cindy now falls directly into that category.

I will never forget her amazing appearance on the Howard Stern show where she lost a contest and had to get cold water poured all over her bountiful breasts while wearing a white t-shirt. The stunning vision of her that day will always be engrained in my head and it was one of the sexiest sites I have ever seen. That is one of the most appealing things about Cindy; she did not have to be naked to turn us on.

What is impressive is at 40 she has the body most 20 year olds would kill for. She proves that you don’t have to be young to be appealing, nor do you have to be dirty. I wish more young women would look up to her instead of some of the “slutty” role models we see today. Cindy is a classy woman, blessed with natural beauty and a impressive mind. If you doubt her brains, look at how much money and fame she has amassed, and watch for her to get even more attention and a career boost from this move, mark my words you will see her everywhere!

Playboy has once again made a great coup. They have always been a classy company and have always, bar none, featured the most beautiful women in the world in their publication. In my opinion this is the second biggest and best signing they managed, only being topped when the incredible Marilyn Monroe was their centerfold many decades ago. There is a reason that superstar women turn to Playboy when they decide to pose. They know they will not only be made to look incredibly gorgeous, but they will be treated with class and respect. Along with this, the publicity received from their appearance is priceless, and they will forever be known and remembered in history as being one of the most beautiful women.

I for one cannot wait to see Cindy Margolis’ goddess figure gracing the pages of Playboy. You can bet your last dollar that I will be hounding the local convenience store anxiously awaiting the issue to arrive.
