Q: Tell us a little about yourself and where you grew up.
A: Well that’s pretty open ended! Where do I start, I am of German, Scottish and Cherokee Indian heritage. I was born in Biloxi but I only lived there for a couple years. Because my Father was in the Air Force, we moved every two or three years. I have lived in Mississippi, Idaho, Germany, California, Utah and Spain. I was raised Mormon, My dad was a Bishop. I was taught that masturbation is not good and that sex is only for making children. When I got older and started having sex, I realized I'm not a bad person. Q: What were you like in your teens? A: All of my family knows they are not proud but they were supportive to a degree. It's not something we even talk about that much, so it's not an issue. They've never said one mean thing to me about it and never thrown it in my face and never made me feel bad about it. I know this isn't the job they want their child to have. As far as my friends are concerned, I am sure most of them do know and I don't think people would be surprised at all I always loved to tease and flirt.
Q: How old were you when you lost your virginity and what was it like? A: I was 14 years old and It SUCKED BIG TIME! Q: Had you had a lot of sexual experience when you did your first porn? Did you have a lot of guys? A: Well, when it comes to having sex, yes, but not different sex. Only plain regular sex... I lost count to the number of guys, I would say maybe 100. Q: Do you remember watching your first porno? Did you like it? A: Of course. My first boyfriend was 15 and he finally got me to watch it. I didn't know anything about it, what it really was. My reaction was Oh my god! I thought it was sick and gross and I didn't know why people had to watch that.
Q: What did you do before you started in porn? A: I was dancing at a club in Utah and doing bachelor parties. Q: How did you get started shooting? A: Well I was kind of getting bored with the Dancing and Bachelor parties. One day an agent came from California to Utah to scout a friend of mine who was dancing with me in the club. She told him about me and I ended up talked to him on the phone. I liked what he had to say and the very next day I flew out. Q: How did you come up with your stage name? A: I had a friend in Utah whose name was Bella, which thought was so beautiful. My agent at time said Bella means beautiful and you say Bella Donna together and it means beautiful woman, so it stuck!
Q: Do you remember your first scene? What was it and who was it with? A: My very first scene Real Sex Magazine with Chris Cannon. I had a lot of fun. I was a little nervous because I had never been naked in front of a camera before. I absolutely loved the attention and having a makeup artist. That scene was also the first time I had ever done anal in my life. It was one of those things. Q: What? Your First Anal Ever was on Camera? How Did That Happen? A: Well, the director asked me “You want to do anal”. I was thinking to myself, “If I say no, will they still hire me?” I really had no idea what I was getting into. I didn't do anything to prepare for it, but thankfully, it didn't hurt as much as I thought. I was working with a real pro. You can have guy go in there and hurt you or you can have a guy go in there and take his time. Lucky for me I had the latter.
Q: What was your first scene experience like? A: Overall it was amazing. I hadn’t had sex for a couple of months so I was really horny. I was eighteen years old and I had a lot of questions. I was still unsure about it and it took a while for me to really enjoy it, but I did. Q: Who are your favorite performers to work with Male and Female? A: On the industry I think it is great. I have been treated well, despite some of the ups and downs I faced. What I like is you can do whatever you want to do in this industry. The only thing I really stress about is the STD's. I think people should protect themselves a lot more.
Q: Watching your movies you look incredibly freaky and kinky. What is your “real” sex life outside of the business like, what are you real turn ons? Any Fantasies? A: OK, this might sound a little freaky to guys because they don’t really like this, but I like eating man-ass! It turns me on, it really does. And I would love to strap one on and have anal sex with my husband, but he would never let me do that. I also love armpits, I love the smell, I’ll put my face in his armpit. Q: We all know you love being with women. What about off screen? A: Well, actually, no, because when I got married I made a decision - my husband and I both agreed to just be with each other. And I do have dreams and desires to be with women off screen, but my loyalty is to my husband. So I don’t act upon those things. Q: Is penis size important? A: No not really. I prefer maybe like an 8”. I would take 6 or 7 inches over a really big one. It could be a little thick. I was with Nacho for three years and I know what it’s like to be with a fucking huge dick all the time. Sometimes you can't walk if you fuck four times a day.
Q: Most women are scared to death about Anal. Since you are one of the Anal Queens of the industry, do you have any advice for them? A: I have plenty! First of all, you have to be very horny if you're ever going to do it. You have to be warm, in a good comfortable position. I prefer the spoon position. I recommend touching your clit and making sure you're really relaxed. Also, make sure the guy who does it understands that it's your asshole and it's going to hurt a little. Everyone is different, but for me I like to talk dirty when doing it. I personally prefer using spit because lube can burn your asshole. Everyone is different there though; get a non alcoholic lube if you use one. I would finally tell them use a butt plug before or a glass toy on yourself and get it loosened up and ready, and really try to get into it.
Q: We really want to know, does getting fucked up the ass really hurt? A: There are times when it can get challenging, yes. I think that's the whole fascination about anal. If it wasn't like that, it wouldn't' be so good. It's like “oh yeah, that's a little tight but go ahead and do it. It's kind of sex I like. Q: I have been dying to ask you about the ABC "Prime Time" show. I have heard they didn’t tell the whole story. What did they leave out? How were you misunderstood? A: First of all, I never said that I was anti-porn. I had no idea what I was getting into. This mainstream company followed me around for two years and never told me they would make it an entire hour long episode. The way they edited the piece was total bullshit, made up lies, such as the one making it look like I was waiting for a contract. They completely took things out of context. Some things I said were true, at times I did feel pressured into doing things, but I made a choice to go on and do it. I still think a lot of people don't' realize when you're 18 and there's tons of people in the business you don't know who they are, they pressure you. I'm wasn’t going to lie and say everyone's great, and that you never get treated badly, but I think it's bullshit when people don't' want to hear the truth. I was honest about having STDs. That shit goes around and lots of people don’t give a fuck. It was after that show aired that we the requirements to have an STD test were implemented. Some good came out of it. I will never do something like that again. ABC emailed me and wanted to do a follow up. I said, 'No thank you. I don't want to be embarrassed again.'"
Q: Well your career skyrocketed after this, so it really wasn’t all that bad! What are you comments on this? A: It has been a long time now, and throughout the years I’ve had different opinions on it. I have learned that it was actually better for me that it happened, because I got a lot of exposure from it, and people who didn’t know me before certainly do now. Most of them really like me, even though maybe the industry wasn’t so happy about it after it first aired. I learned a lot from it, and I had a great feeling when I did it, I didn’t feel like I did anything wrong. Q: Since you felt railroaded, was there any real fallout from it? A: They chopped it up completely, and that wasn’t my choice nor did I have anything to do with the editing. I never intended to come off as a victim. I just wanted people to hear my side of the story. It was my experience and not everyone else’s. I wasn’t saying porn is bad, I was just saying that shit happens, and it happens regardless of what your job is. But, you know, people did talk a lot of shit. I just heard things through the grapevine, no one ever really said anything to my face, but it didn’t really affect me, so it was good.
Q: You also made the transition into directing, what was that like? A: Truthfully, it wasn't an easy thing for me. It was an opportunity my ex boyfriend, Nacho Vidal, made for me. I would tell him all these perverted stories and he said, 'Why don't you direct?' I was scared to death. I didn't' want to be responsible for a whole movie. I can perform very well. But to be responsible for the whole thing? I was very scared. I didn't think I could do it. But Nacho pushed me. I tried it and had fun, I got to play around with my ideas. Q: Which celebrities do you most want to fuck? Male and Female A: Oh yeah this is a great question! Ladies, I would choose Charlise Theoron and Christina Ricci. Charlise is very classy and mysterious. You don't' know a lot about her. She turns me on, she really does. Christina is one of those cute voluptuous little girls. She's has a body to die for and a face you want to suck on. Edward Norton drives me nuts because he's an incredible actor. I also love Brad Pitt, he drives me crazy!
Q: Which current cast of adult starlets do you see having a big future? A: Wow there is a lot of them! Katja Kassin, she's fucking drop dead gorgeous with a curvaceous body and a sweet face. I'm 22 now and I plan to go to massage therapy college and when I'm 26 I'll open my own massage business. Q: Do you have any career plans after porn? A: Oh, definitely. I have a couple of interests I would love to do, like be a nutritionist, or massage therapist. I really got very healthy after I had my daughter. I read books on it. Q: How do you want people to remember you 40 years from now? A: I just want them to remember my smile and that I always had a good time, that it was all about pleasing them and helping fulfill their fantasies.
