Q: Gina, why don’t you tell us a little about yourself growing up.

A: I’m from San Antonio, Texas. Born and raised. Spent twenty ones years of my life there.

Q: What is your ethnic background?

A: I am Hispanic American.

Q: How would you describe yourself when you were younger?

A: Well, I definitely would not describe myself as shy! I was always very active. I was always involved in a million and one things outside of school. And of course, who can forget partying. I loved to party when I was a teenager.

Q: Given your nature, do you think people you went to school with would be surprised to see what you’re doing these days?

A: I think most of them would be. But then again, you have to realize that for me porn is a living. It’s not always a lifestyle. If you saw me at the mall or the grocery store today, you wouldn’t assume I did porn.

Q: What were you doing before adult?

A: I was working as a retail manager for Blockbuster Music in San Antonio. I also spent 18 months as a dancer. I really liked what I was doing with dancing, and some of the other dancers I worked with inspired me to become involved with the adult film business. That’s when I decided I needed to move.

Q: How did you find yourself in LA? Was it specifically to do movies?

A: Yes. I had been thinking about movies for a few years. I flew out in 1998 and got myself signed up with an agent.

Q: It was that quick of a process?

A: Pretty much, yes. I called around to a few companies, and they sent me to an agent. It was Jim South. He had me start working immediately.

Q: How old were you when you first appeared on film?

A: I was 21, in 1998. My first movie was for New Sensations. It’s called Video Virgins #34.

Q: Who did you work with?

A: Tony Tedeschi.

Q: Was he a good break into the business?

A: Yes. He was very nice.

Q: Were you nervous?

A: At first. They had me do an interview, and they gave me a pocket rocket (vibrator.) I had never tried one before, and afterwards, I was more than ready for sex!

Q: What makes you more nervous, sex or talking on camera?

A: Having to talk on camera for sure. I never know what I am going to sound like. But as for sex, once we get started, I couldn’t even tell you where the camera is.

Q: About how many movies have you made?

A: I’ve done over two hundred fifty.

Q: In how long?

A: In about four years.

Q: Do you have any favorite films that stand out in your mind?

A: It all really depends on what someone would want to see. I have a ‘best of’ tape that Legend distributes, it has a lot of different types of work.

Q: What do you prefer, simple stuff, or bigger feature projects?

A: I like doing features, but only if the production is well run. You can have a lot of fun because you can really get into your character. Gonzo has its high points as well, because if you’re paired up with someone you really like, you just go in and you get to have good sex. It’s great.

Q: Do you have any performers you especially like working with?

A: As far as guys, Mark Davis and TT Boy. For girls, I love working with Shay Sweet, Charmane, and Inari Vachs.

Q: Why those?

A: They all really know what they’re doing. The guys know how to take control, and they know how to make you feel great.

Q: Before adult, had you been with a girl?

A: I’ve never been with a girl one on one off-screen. It’s always been a threesome.

Q: Anyone you want to work with that you haven’t?

A: I really want to work with Dru Berrymore. We keep trying to get together but it’s hard because of the conflict in our availabilities.

Q: Is there anything you won’t do on camera?

A: There isn’t really anything I can think of. I will do anything I am comfortable with, and so far the directors seem to be cool with that.

Q: Has the success you’ve achieved so far in the business done anything to change you?

A: No I totally don’t think so. I don’t let porn go to my head. I am so flattered whenever someone tells me they enjoy my work or they think I’m hot, but at the end of the day, I feel like I am the girl I was before entering porn.

Q: Ok just to wrap up here, what can we expect from you in the near future?

A: I’m going to be working really hard as I always have, so my fans can expect to see me in many more movies. As far as my personal life goes, I would like to think that as I have matured, I have realized how important education is. I would like to think that at some point, I might end up going back to school.
