Ariana: The most irrational things! I actually get scared about my body. I have a tiny pussy and a tiny clit, and sometimes I get scared they are going to expand or get huge and it won’t feel the same to use them! I don’t worry about much else because this is my choice, so I really don’t have anything to be scared of. Oh, and I also hate seeing myself on camera without makeup!
Q: What has it been like now that you’re directing as well as acting?
Ariana: It’s been good. Actually it’s been awesome. I love directing. Completely and utterly everything I want to do. So far, I have got to do everything I dreamed of in this business, if not more. I’ve got to be a huge pervert and get paid. It’s amazing.
Q: Is there even a comparison between both sides of the camera?
Ariana: Well, I mean, its fun on both sides! I have learned something new from every single person I have worked for or with. I never had any idea before how incredibly difficult it is to shoot a movie from start to finish. I have had a lot of help along the way. The thing I like most about being behind the camera is how supportive and amazing everyone has been. They wanted me to succeed.
Q: What does it mean to be doing it “your way” to you?
Ariana: “My way” sometimes means a 16 hour day. I could easily be there for 24 and not even realize because I love what I’m doing. I want to make everyone feel the way I feel about it.
Q: And your feeling – is it that you love every minute of it?
Ariana: Yes I do. Even when nothing is going on, and the camera is off. I love sitting on set, and having my hair and makeup done. It’s the best place to be, in my opinion. I go home at night, and I just want to go back.
Q: Not everyone feels like you do. They would argue you are being exploited.
Ariana: All they would have to do is sit and talk with me for a few minutes. How could I be being exploited? If anything, I am exploiting myself. I’m the one sitting here with a smile on my face.
Q: How old were you when you started?
Ariana: I was 20. It hasn’t been that long at all.
Q: Is there really a lot left at this point that you haven’t accomplished?
Ariana: Oh there is plenty left for me! I have literal lists of stuff left to do. I have so many different guys that I want to have sex with. I have a to-do list, which is all of the people I absolutely need to have sex with. Trust me, I have a list, and I am going to fuck them all! I also have a ton of movie ideas, but who knows how long those will take to come through.
Q: How did you find your way to the industry?
Ariana: I sought it out. I wanted to.
Q: Were you watching movies?
Ariana: I’ve been watching movies since I was like 12. Do you know what it’s like to have sex with someone you’ve been watching since you were 12? When I met Peter North, my jaw dropped. I fucked my favorite porn star, and then I got paid.
Q: You watched porn when you were 12?
Ariana: I was highly sexed from as young as I can remember. I used to call 900 numbers from the classifieds. And there was the internet, that was a big one. Once I discovered the internet, it was all over. I met people in chatrooms, and I lied about my age. I was like 13 and 14 and telling people I was 19.
Q: You met in person?
Ariana: Some of them. Some I just talked to online and some I met and fucked.
Q: Lets talk about the legendary firehouse gangbang.
Ariana: I wonder if any of them have ever heard the story. There isn’t that much to tell really. There was this guy I fucked in high school. One day, he took me to the firehouse and we fucked in front of all the guys. Then, they just sort of lined up, so I fucked all of them. Maybe about 15 total?
Q: And then what after that? You just hopped a flight to LA?
Ariana: I made a little website. I had no idea how to get into the business. I really tried though, and I looked all over. Finally a production manager saw it, and asked me if I wanted to come out, and so I did. First place I went, right off the plane, was to work.
Q: And that is where you met your husband (also in the industry)?
Ariana: It sure is.
Q: How do you avoid burn out if you work so much?
Ariana: I don’t want to get jaded or overexposed. I want to be able to evolve and to change. I have realized that if I keep changing, people will want to keep working with me.
Q: Do you actually get off on camera?
Ariana: Absolutely! I do not like going through the motions. When I was new and still learning, I tried my best to get off but it didn’t always work. Now I am used to it. Basically, I want passion for whatever I’m doing. If I was sitting behind a desk, I would have passion for that too. Everything I do is my own choice.
Q: What will you be doing in 5 years?
Ariana: This! I will be in this industry, in one form or another.
Q: Last question: private life vs. porn life. Are they one in the same?
Ariana: There are parts of me I don’t share. I am very particular about who I let in close, and its not very many people. But I do give a lot to a lot of people. That’s one of my problems I think, that I give a lot when maybe sometimes I shouldn’t. But there is a very definite split between those parts of my life. There is a lot that wouldn’t be expected of me. I will leave it at that.
Thanks Ariana! It was awesome speaking with you!
