By: Johnny Maxx Big Black Back! Fortunate enough to spend a few lucky minutes with the dazzling Stacey Cash, she speaks candidly about her illustrious career in adult film.
Q: What were you like growing up, and what did you think you wanted to do? A: I was a happy little girl, I had a really happy upbringing. When I was young, I thought that I wanted to be a doctor. Q: And what happened to that dream? A: It sort of just faded away. Now, I work strictly in the adult industry, and that is keeping me very busy. I have a lot of ambition and goals for myself in porn, although I am a licensed insurance agent. I can license you for anything, except life.
Q: What kind of crowd did you hang out with in high school, and what kind of student were you? A: Although I was a popular girl and I hung out with the in-crowd, I kept to myself a lot. I had two or three close girl friends. We weren’t cheerleaders, but everyone liked us. I was a good student. A good B+. Q: How old were you when you lost your virginity? A: I was 17 years old. Q: Were you a slut in high school? A: No! I was actually a pretty good girl when I was still in school. I think people just assumed I was. I was one of those cute little girls who flirted with all the boys but that was it. At the time, I had slept with just one person in the entire school.
Q: How old were you when you started in porn? A: I was 21 years old. Q: Why did you decide to enter the adult film industry? A: I really like the money, and of course I love my job. Really, I like a lot of the people I work with, and I am really moving up in the business. I started out with the acting, and now I am behind the camera shooting. As I mentioned earlier, I am also an agent and I am in the process of starting a website (when up and running, will be www.staceycash.com). Q: What else are you working on currently? A: My boyfriend and I have cash_agency@hotmail.com and we have about 10 girls working for us. I am also the CEO of Cash Exxxchange Entertainment, and to date have done over 300 movies. Q: Is there anything you don’t do in your own work that you will do while filming or on your website? A: Yes. I will do everything I don’t do on film, including anal and double penetration.
Q: What do you love about the industry? A: The common answer, money. Q: Any dislikes? A: You know, I can’t really think of anything. I don’t hate anything. Well actually, I hate that it’s a little tougher to move up in the industry while being a black girl. It’s harder to get a lot of work because not a lot of black people shoot. While it is harder to get into a lot of white movies, I have been in a few features. I’m lucky. I’m happy. Q: Who do you prefer to work with? A: I prefer working with black guys. They’re more aggressive, but they know how to talk to a woman. They are definitely funny. They are quite the characters.
Q: What has been a high point for you in pornography? A: The last AVN expo in Las Vegas, a lot of people approached me. I got to do a lot of signing, and that was definitely a high. Q: Any lows? A: Any time there is a down in the industry, that is a low. The AIDS crisis for example, that was a major low. Q: Has there been any surprises for you this far in adult porn? A: I think a lot of people would be surprised to find out it’s actually work. It’s a paycheck. It’s work. Anyone who has ever been on the set of a movie, or who had worked in adult film knows that everyone participating is working hard. Q: Are there any final words you would like to include for your fans? A: As always, thanks for the support and the kind words! If you see me at an expo, come and say hi!
