With a Mormon background and a strict upbringing, Belladonna has shocked many – not only because she got into porn, but because she’s probably one of the industry’s hottest and most uninhibited performers. We caught up with this nasty nymph and got a chance to ask her about her interview with Diane Sawyer on Prime Time Live, and her career in adult film.

Q: You're pretty famous for your Prime Time Live interview. Has your life changed since talking with Diane Sawyer and the mainstream media?

Belladonna : Well, I"m more aware of what things I shouldn"t do as far as the mainstream media goes.

Q: Well the mainstream has always been slanted in some respects. Meaning it"s generally anti-porn. Do you feel that the program accurately portrayed your feelings at the time of the interview?

Q: Well, let's clarify that then. I think at some point in the interview, it looked like you were upset with being in the industry. But that"s not the case now?

Belladonna : No, I wasn't upset at being in the industry. I just think I was emotional at that time in my life with a lot of personal things, and it came out in the interview. But there were things that I'd done in the industry that I had look back on and thought I didn't really like that, but those were my choices and I don't regret them and I don't blame them on anybody.

Q: When you say there were things you really didn't like, are you talking about a particular flick?

Belladonna : I think everyone knows it’s the gangbang movie. I didn’t really have fun with that. I felt pressured. But then again, I was the one that told myself I was going to do the movie, so it was my choice. But I think there were some things that I should have done.

Q: And what are your feelings now? You've been in The Fashionistas, which was an award-winning flick. How was your experience on that movie as opposed to others you've been in.

Belladonna : Well, The Fashionistas was an incredible film. One - because it was shot on film; and two - because it was (directed by) John Stagliano, and he's one of my favorites in the world. I got to dance, I got to act, I got to go through some incredible experiences that I'd never been through as far as dominatrixes and stuff like that. It was my favorite film I've ever done.

Q: And what about films that you're doing for Evil Angel now?

Belladonna : I'm shooting my own series now for Evil Angel called Evil Pink, and I am continuing to do that. I'm taking my time...it's a little bit of a challenge for me as far as directing goes - I want to make sure that I'm at my "best place" in my head when I need to direct. So, I'm taking my sweet time.
