Accordingly to a study done at Leicester University, alcohol doesn't make men view women as more attractive; in fact, their findings showed that booze has the opposite effect, making the fairer sex seem less fair.

Obviously the scientists in question have never met my buddy, Lester; as soon as a drop of alcohol hit his tongue, he's instantly chatting-up the greasiest she-bison in the room and he's a handsome guy. But when liquor in the picture, dude becomes an animal. He herds together the nastiest bush pigs in the room and drives them like cattle to the nearest public washroom. It's actually quite remarkable to watch, but no less disturbing. Sober, Lester has normal standards; drunk, fatties beware.

This "Beer Goggles"; study, lead by Dr Vincent Egan, says that Lester's behavior, and those like Lester, cannot blame the spirits for their possession, and their subsequent sordid antics. It's all on them.

"The findings showed that alcohol reduced the ability of women to guess the age of the photo models, but not men. Both the effects of alcohol and prettifying a face with make-up had little effect on men's judgment. Another interesting finding was that overall participants who drank alcohol actually rated all the women in the photos as less attractive, compared to the participants who hadn't drunk alcohol. This seemingly flies in the face of the commonly held notion of 'beer goggles'."

Tell that to Lester the day after, as he eyes the horror show snoring revoltingly besides him.

Russian Man Survives Five Storey Fall—Twice!

Alexei Roskov drank three bottle of vodka; he then decided to jump off his fifth storey balcony. Amazingly, the man survived the 50 foot fall with nothing but scratches. He stumbled back upstairs to his apartment where he was met by his wife, who was understandably livid. Coming across this story, my first thoughts are of Rasputin, the mad monk, who was poisoned with enough cyanide to kill 6 men, stabbed in the stomach so badly that his intestines fell out, and then shot, and then clubbed, and then thrown into the icy waters of the Neva where he drowned. WHERE HE DROWNED! The poison, the stab wound, the gunshot, and the clubbing didn't kill the fucker, the water did. Tougher than Jesus? Perhaps.

I guess the moral of above stories--one dated, one recent--is that some Russians are nearly impossible to kill. What it has to do with porn, I don't know; just had to share.
